How does a wild sky session work?

Your dog does not need to be perfectly trained, perfectly still, or perfectly anything. Sessions are built to be relaxed and dog friendly.


Before Your Session:


You’ll receive prep info, location details, and tips to help your dog arrive ready for their moment.


During Your Session:


We keep things fun and flexible. Treats, toys, silly noises, breaks, and leash safety are all part of the process.


After Your Session:


You’ll receive a private proof gallery where you can choose your included images and purchase additional favorites, prints, or wall art. No pressure, no awkward pitch, no weird salesy nonsense.

The dog-crazy photographer behind wild sky

I’ve spent over two decades working with dogs in veterinary medicine, so I know every dog brings their own personality, comfort level, quirks, and opinions.


Some are shy. Some are spicy. Some are wiggly. Some are suspicious of literally everything. Some are chaos in a cute little body.


Wild Sky Dog Photography was created for dogs who deserve portraits with big personality, dramatic skies, and a session experience that feels fun instead of stressful.


I also believe choosing your photos should feel exciting, not awkward. You’ll get a private proof gallery with clear options for selecting your included images, adding extra favorites, and ordering prints or wall art during your gallery ordering window.



No pressure, no weird pitch, no “please sit through this sales presentation while your soul leaves your body” nonsense.

FAQ

Does my dog need to be perfectly trained?


Nope. Your dog does not need to sit like a statue, have a perfect stay, or pretend they are not a tiny chaos creature. Sessions are designed to work with your dog’s actual personality.

Can my dog stay on leash?


Yes. Safety comes first, always. Dogs can absolutely stay leashed during their session, and leashes will be edited out of final images.

What if my dog is nervous, or easily distracted?


That’s okay. I’ve spent over two decades working with dogs in the veterinary field, so I’m very used to dogs with big feelings, big opinions, and selective listening skills. We’ll keep things calm, flexible, and focused on what your dog can handle.

Can I bring additional dogs to a mini session?


Mini sessions are for one dog only. If you want photos of multiple dogs or need more time and variety, a full session is the better fit.

What is included with a mini session?


Mini sessions include a 30-minute outdoor session, a private proof gallery, and 3 high-resolution digital images of your choice. Additional digital images, prints, and wall art are available after your gallery is delivered.

What is included with a full session?


Full sessions include a longer outdoor session, a private proof gallery, 10 high-resolution digital images of your choice, and a $50 credit toward digital upgrades or wall art. They’re a great option for dogs who need more time, multiple looks, or a slower-paced experience.

What happens if the weather is bad?


Outdoor sessions depend on safe, workable weather. If the weather decides to be dramatic in the wrong direction, we’ll reschedule.

Where do sessions take place?


Sessions are held outdoors in the Massillon/Canton, Ohio area. Exact location details will be sent after booking.

Can I buy more images after my session?


Yep! Your proof gallery will include options to purchase additional favorite digital images, professional prints, and wall art. You’ll choose your favorites from a private online proof gallery. No awkward pitch, no pressure, no weird upsell nonsense.
